POLONIA HAMILTON FC
Polonia Hamilton is proud to be one of the oldest and most well-supported Polish soccer clubs in Canada. Over the years, the team has achieved remarkable success, earning numerous trophies and competing not only in Canada but also across the U.S. and Poland.

At one point, we had three teams in the over-35 league, alongside a couple of youth teams during the late 70s and early 80s, and in 1996, we introduced a senior women’s team into competition.

The Polonia Hamilton Football Club has been privileged to have esteemed footballers who represented Poland in international competitions play for us. Notably, in 1985, Greg Lato, the 1974 Golden Boot award winner who led Poland to a third-place finish in the 1974 World Cup, began his tenure with our team. Over five years, Lato contributed to our club, playing for both the senior and old-timers teams.

Lato was not just a leader on the field; he attracted numerous fans eager to watch him and our team play. This bolstered our club's and our sport's popularity in the Hamilton area.

Polonia Hamilton Football Club sincerely thanks all the Polish organizations and supporters in Hamilton who have provided both financial and emotional support over the years. Your backing has been essential in shaping our proud tradition as a premier football club. We welcome players who share our passion for football, fostering a competitive yet enjoyable atmosphere.
