The Żywiec Cup 2025 competition cup was won by Jagiellonia London and Olimpia Toronto
On Saturday, March 8, another indoor football tournament Żywiec Cup 2025 was played. In two categories: Open and over 35. 14 teams from the province of Ontario competed in the competition.
In the Open category, after a fierce duel in the final between Jagiellonia London and UHSC Hamilton, which ended with a result of 0:0, the winner was determined by penalty kicks.
The Jagiellonia players proved more effective, winning the trophy.
The MVP of the tournament in the Open category was Andrew Gravett - Jagiellonia London.
The best goalkeeper - Mychaylo Kerechanyn - UHSC Hamilton.
The top scorer - Eugene Honcharenko - Karpaty.
In the over-35 category, after an exciting game in the Husaria vs. Olimpia match, the players of Olimpia won, dominating this year's tournament, winning all the individual awards.
Tournament MVP- Kuba Biały
Best goalkeeper- Paul Kalinowski- "Kali"
Best scorer- Viktor Zakhariv
The wonderful, individual trophies for the players were donated by Mr. Adam Petrus - Ancaster Plastics Machinery Inc.
The tournament was organized by Bogdan Kwapisz, Krzysztof Hrycaj, Marcin Warzywoda.
